One to one to one is how we change the world.
This workspace started out to be Sip & Snail, which was just letter writing. Because I believe in snail mail and I historically suck at it.
Not at receiving it. I love receiving it. It is always a gift.But I certainly suck at getting it written, getting a stamp on it, and...
sending it out.
The workspace has morphed a bit. It is simply the opportunity to get out of the fray of every day and write with humans who are writing. Letters (sent to someone), small stories (sent to someone), poems, notes on a card, random thoughts (sent to someone).
This time is your every second Wednesday evening opportunity to sit in my studio - or on the couch, or at a table in the the sculpture gallery - or to grab a work table and a chair and find a cozy corner at TAC that speaks to you all alone. It's all good.
Whether it's sending out a heartfelt thank you to the aunt who has sent you a birthday card every. single. year. of your life; writing a tiny story from a first sentence that's been lurking (or exercising your ability to write from someone else's first sentence)... it's about moving your hand and writing. And then sending that result of heart and ink and paper - warts and all - out to one other human being.

Where: My studio. *Enter through my studio door in front of the blue van.
How Many: 11 workspacers maximum per Series.
How Much: 20.00/wk includes a trove of stationery and cards plus plenty of pens. Notebooks and journals are available.
