A look back at my time designing Hercules, Road to El Dorado, Titan A.E., and Finding Nemo. Each movie was a completely unique challenge of creating a style special to the ideas of the story.
We will explore the process from the very beginning, starting with a script, then the research, exploration, and style experimentation that eventually brings the story to life. To add a bit of perspective to the process, we will briefly study the history of style in animated movies.
Whether you are interested in being an animation designer, or are simply a lover of animated movies or finding out what goes on behind the scenes of , this presentation will give you an insider's look at how a studio makes their movies, and how they rely on artists to make their dreams come true.
